Return and Cancellation Policy
1. Criteria for Cancellation
Cancellation can only be requested before the seller confirms the order. To cancel, please reach out to Apparelux customer support.
2. Criteria for Return Eligibility
Products may be returned or replaced if they meet any of the following conditions:
- Damaged products
- Defective items
- Incorrect item/color/size
- Missing parts/accessories
- Item not as described
- Counterfeit goods
- Non-receipt of order
You must submit a return request within 4 working days from the delivery date.
3. Return Process and Necessary Documentation
- To initiate a return, send an email to help@apparelux.in.
- Upload images and videos showing the issue with the product, along with the shipping label.
4. Guidelines for Images/Videos to Submit for Returns
Images:
- Shipping label with the Order ID
- Packed shipment
- Product with original tags
- Visible issue with the product
- Any damages to the product
Videos:
- Unboxing video or any other video showing the issue with the delivered order, covering all sides of the package, product details, shipping label, quantity, damages, and tampering.
5. Return Shipping and Associated Costs
- Apparelux will arrange return logistics in all serviceable areas. If unavailable, the buyer or seller must self-ship. Customer support will assist if the return is valid. Returns due to buyer mistakes may be declined.
- Shipping costs depend on fault. If due to product quality issues, the seller covers it; otherwise, the buyer may be responsible. Apparelux’s decision is final.
- Once approved, the product must be returned within 3 days.
- Logistics partner will attempt pickup twice. If unsuccessful, the request will be closed, and a new request must be initiated.
6. Packaging Instructions for Returns
- Items must be in original condition, packed with all accessories, tags, packaging, and warranty slips.
- Return invoice must be attached before handing over to the logistics partner.
7. Return Tracking and Refund Process
- Check return/refund status by contacting Apparelux customer service via email or phone.
- After the return reaches the seller, Apparelux will process replacement or refund within 5-10 business days based on the payment method.
8. Conditions Where Returns, Replacements, or Refunds are Not Allowed
- Return request after the allowed timeframe.
- Product damaged due to use or no longer in received condition, including broken packaging.
- Items not delivered via the specified shipping method.
- Made-to-order or customized products, unless damaged or defective.
- Missing essential items like price tags, labels, packaging, freebies, or accessories.
- Non-returnable items listed on product page (sarees, lehengas, bedsheets, curtains, towels, lingerie, etc.).
9. Dispute Resolution
If a buyer or seller abuses the return policy, actions may include account suspension, limitation of privileges, or termination. Apparelux reserves the right to make such decisions at its discretion.
10. Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, and Arbitration
- Unresolved disputes within 60 days will be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (as amended).
- Three arbitrators will conduct arbitration; two party-appointed arbitrators select the presiding arbitrator. Venue: Mumbai; language: English.
- The tribunal can order discovery, witness identification, document production, and exchange of exhibits. Hearings held unless both parties agree in writing to resolve via documents. Costs may be imposed for adjournments or non-compliance.
- Arbitration award is final and binding. Expenses shared equally (excluding legal fees). Award enforceable by any court with jurisdiction.
- The return policy and additional terms are governed by Indian law; disputes subject to Mumbai courts' exclusive jurisdiction.
